On March 18, 2013, our tulips were noted to be just emerging above the ground approximately 1 inch. The shoots were a greenish-redish color. On March 25, 2013, the tulips had grown to an average height of 3 inches above the ground. As the stems emerged, more green color was noted, combined with the redish hue of the original stem that emerged.
