Was awakened at the predawn hour of 5:45 am by robins singing their dawn song. A wonderful sound. The next morning around the same time I heard a robin make his whinny call, like he was making sure others new this was his territory. Cold days and nights and snow showers almost daily. These songs make me hopeful that spring will soon be here to stay.
