There are snow flurries in the air and it is slightly windy.
I hear the Red Winged Black Bird singing outside my bathroom window. She is announcing her arrival. I look to see if she is near enough to catch a glimpse of her. There she is on the fence as if her song is meant to lure me outside. She is dark black with the red wing tips, her identification is exact and her arrival means that Spring is soon to come.
