All of my various lilies and Tulips started to come up over a month ago but frost has bitten them back above ground as fast as they tried to grow. FINALLY, they are coming up...and VERY EARLY since they are not supposed to even start coming up until late Spring Early Summer and our temps have been below average. I can possible credit this to mulch (which is much darker in color that regular soil) and it heats up so much faster than regular soil! I am so glad that they are coming up early...I may just get them to bloom TWICE or more this year!
