As the snow melts, waves of robins feed along the edges where they are apparently finding food. They seem to be present wherever the snow is just melting. They haven't arrived in our yard yet (which is late) but are all around our neighborhood. Some years when migration is late I've noticed we don't get concentrations of robins. That's my guess for this year.
