This is awfully late to only begin to hearing robins--usually we first see/hear them the end of Feb/beginning of March. We had snow on the ground ALL March, so that prob why. The robin I heard this day was very close to the house and was teasing me, 'cuz I couldn't see it! :-D I finally *saw* a robin on 4/4/13. Also heard sandhill cranes 4/5/13, but not sure how early/late that is for them.
