Today is Monday April 8th and on the way to the science trailer Elikya observed that a lot of the tulips were close to blooming. Mrs. Austin took all of us to the tulip test garden to check things out! We observed that all of our tulips had emerged and eight of our tulips look like they will bloom soon. We have one tulip that has begun to bloom but we don't think it is finished. We think it started to bloom over the weekend so we can't be 100% sure about the exact date. Some people think it will be completely open by Thursday but others think it will take longer. We track out on April 15th and as a class we predict that about half of our tulips will be blooming before we track out.
