Sightings report image

Date: 04/09/2013

Number: 1

Mrs. Brewster's Second Grade class announces the arrival of Spring! Five tulips bloomed today. The tallest was between 9 and 9 1/2 inches. The shortest tulip to bloom was 4 1/2 inches. Today was a cool, cloudy, and windy day. It was 68.5 degrees F (20.6 degrees C) with 24 mph winds. Our garden contains nearly 270 tulip bulbs, and we look forward to more blooms! We were very excited to see a long night crawler in the tulip bed!
