I saw the hummingbird in flight along the beach fringe but it was a distance away and could only tell it was a hummingbird by its flight pattern. The on the 5th, I heard a hummingbird in flight (but did not see it) along the sunny side hill where blueberries grow. On Sunday the 7th, I saw my first hummingbird up close at the feeder. It was a sunny afternoon and you could hear the hummingbirds in flight along the side hills. The blueberry buds are just starting to form.
