I was out of town for the first leaf opening. After returning home, we have had a leaf opening explosion. This 80-90 degree weather has popped the buds on the younger cherry trees and the red buds. There is a steady swarm of bees on the red bud. Several of my perennials have started to appear. There is a fine layer of pollen on everything outside.
