Returning from Spring Break the third graders at Annie Wright Day Schools were delighted with their tulips. There are gorgeous blooms and the tulip bed was filled with giant red Emperor Tulips. We measured a tulip height at an average of 14 1/2 inches. We also took soil temperatures and now have evidence that the soil temperature is cooler than the air temperature. Spring has brought lots of changes to the Pacific Northwest. Enjoy our photos.
