Last years tulips came back and are blooming profusely, while this years tulips are just beginning to bloom. The two plantings are only about a foot apart, so one might assume the only variable is the age of the bulbs and their root systems. They certainly give us a lot to talk about, what a happy accident that we have the two plantings to compare!
