Our tulips bloomed today. At least 20 bloomed. We planted 50 bulbs and about 35 have come up. We had a cold spring but the past 2 days were a heat wave with temperatures in the high 80's even reaching 92 degrees. The microclimate this year was more in the shade than previous years. This seemed to have delayed the blooming by about a week.
