on this date 3-18-13 I spotted a Bald Eagle sitting on a branch not 5 feet from my deck. He was at eye level, my deck is on the upper story of the house. We have waterfront property on a lake and it is thought we have a nesting pair at Lake Monticello which is a man-made lake about 350 acres. I have just joined Journey North, but I had recorded this sighting for Project Feeder Watch.
