Just after 1 pm I saw my first male Black-chinned Hummingbird. It was the sound of his dive bomber flight that first caught my attention. At first I thought that I was seeing a mating display but I never saw a female and the male landed in a nearby tree. He stayed for a few minutes before before flying off.
