First female Rufous showed up at the feeder at 7:37 evening. I've built some new bird houses/shelters and have them hanging in a few trees on the property. Hope the birds take the opportunity to build their nests within them. I've been doing this for the last three years and hope this year's designs might interest them. Last years first females didn't show up until April 17th. The female I saw tonight took a rest near one of the shelters. Hummmm
