Saw 1st Monarch of season- a female this afternoon hunting for milkweed in my garden. Alas, no mw to be found. Ground too cold. No native mw up yet. Had just gotten home from a reputable nursery with some pesticide-free mw! Hope she comes back! Reported to Monarch Watch. Has been a cool April. Had a hard freeze down to 27 degrees one morning last week. Usually our freezes are over by now, and mw up. Reported to Monarch Watch.
