Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Date: 04/13/2013

Number: 1

I saw the first Monarch of the season this afternoon. Wings were lightly faded and it was flying in a northeasterly direction. Skies were mostly sunny with SW winds from 10 to 15 mph and the temperature was around 70 degrees. Happy to send this report since sightings are fewer this spring. I will be on the lookout for additonal Monarchs.
