My wife and I just saw a hummingbird that we could not identifie. It was a fair bit larger than any hummingbird I have seen in this country.There was no white any where that we could see. It was almost an iridescent black with a little dark blue. It flew in a u shape back and forth at a high rate of speed like a child's swing while a ruby chased it. Any ideas? Please give us some input.
