We saw our first hummer on 4/6 (earliest ever, but couldn't identify species) so immediately put feeders out, but haven't seen one until today when our first Rufous showed at our feeder. It's 40 degrees out, overcast with light rain. At the peak, we go through about a gallon of nectar a day. It begins!
