Hummingbird, Rufous (FIRST)

Date: 04/15/2013

Number: 1

Gosh I have been waiting and have had my feeders up for over a month. Waiting and waiting to see a nibble on the feeders, yet, either they missed me or I missed them. . .Today this morning I stepped out the front door and a Ruffi buzzed my face and went right over to my right about 3 ft to my pink Salvias bush in full bloom. SO. . . .they may have been just sippin' the natural nectars, and I may have missed them possibly at an earlier time. For sure today there it was just 3 ft away. A true for sure confirmation. Because I have so much flora in my gardens, they don't use the feeders as much. But now I will be much more aware at and with more flora and then the feeders. A Happy time!!! Hopefully I will see more and more.
