3 juncos were feeding on the ground under the feeder today. Although our lake is still frozen we saw a Great Blue Heron flying from the open stream at the west end of the lake to open shore on the north east side. We also now have Grackles back feeding in the feeder.
Last year our daffodils were starting to flower today, this year they are just locking out about an inch. There is still patches of snow.
