Hummingbird, Ruby-throated (FIRST)

Date: 04/13/2013

Number: 1

I had put up feeders on February 15 and hadn't seen any, then saw one looking for the feeder minutes after I took one of the feeders down on April 13. It was large and I'm guessing female.
I've never seen them before July and usually not dependably until late August. I'm hoping to get more in Spring or maybe some year round. Not much nectar had been used so there was probably only 1. I put the feeders back up.
