Finally! I got home at 6:00 this evening and looked again for milkweed. I found 6 stalks, just breaking the surface of the soil in my yard. No leaves have unfurled yet, but the stalk is between 1/2" and 1" out of the ground. Still haven't found any at school, but maybe tomorrow!
