A male hummingbird visited our back lawn today - the first one we have seen this year. We had feeders up and he is at the feeders for extended times. He did not go directly to our feeders as others have that makes us believe that the ones that visit where the feeders where last summer must have been raised at our home last season. He is still here and we have another male scout but they are not fighting over feeders or breeding territory - they feed at the same time at the same feeder.
