Observed 17 robins all on the ground in an open grassy area (probing for worms?) This is the first wave I am seen this spring as our weather has been unseasonably cold, wet and snowy. Prior to yesterday, we had 6 consecutive days that it snowed which is rare for April even in MN! The day I saw the robin wave was sunny and 46! The rest of this week's forecast calls for a mix of rain and snow each day until Friday. (We are all on winter storm watch again....so the robins won't be the only ones who aren't happy!)
