We saw our first ruby-throated hummingbird (a beautiful, perfect little male) at about 3:00 p.m. He was feeding from a feeder hanging in front of our living room window. He came back to this feeder about 20 minutes later. We are thrilled that they have returned to us. We put our feeders out about two weeks ago, and have been eagerly awaiting their return this spring. When he arrived, we hurriedly refreshed the feeders with fresh nectar.
