Couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this Barn Swallow. I have never seen one in our area this early in the year - and considering how unseasonably low our temperatures still are in the area, I didn't expect to see any Barn Swallows for several more weeks.

Poor thing may have gotten blown up to our area sooner than he wanted because of the strong southerly winds we have recently had. Sure hope they can survive until our local weather gets back to average.
