Bald Eagle
Sightings report image

Date: 04/22/2013

Number: 1

Attempted to enter this twice previously, nope, NOPE, but will try one more time.
Guess our new eagle family has finally quit the area for now.
Finally saw one adult, valiantly tempting that SCREE-ching juvenile OUT of the nest on April 12. Then on the 13th, found our eaglet sitting on one of the sycamore limbs that support the nest. Adult circled overhead the evening of the scree-ching fit, but was not observed at all on the 13th. It's been over a week now and haven't seen any of the family since then. Can already hardly wait 'til nesting time comes again in the fall.
Here's hoping for EAGLES for THANKSGIVING...or thereabouts!!!
