The bald eagle was observed initially by my eleven year old son. He came home and described the eagle to be about 3 feet tall. We then observed him perched in a nearby tree near our pond. Today he has crossed the street and is perched in an oak tree in a nearby oak tree in the middle of a crawfish pond. We also spotted him flying nearby. His wing span is about 8 feet.
