Came home to see many red-throated hummingbirds gathered around the feeder. Stood about 5 ft from feeder and one who was doing most of the chasing off of others, came right up to my face, not a foot and a half from me and that is how I spotted the red on it's throat. Kind of a green on it's back. I assume some were females because they were not as pretty.
