Our first visitor of the season was spotted today on our back deck. He came out of nowhere and startled my husband, then flew onto a favorite branch, briefly. It then proceeded to hover closer and closer--about four feet away and demanded his feeder be hung up, now! We were not ready yet so he had to wait while the food was made and cooled! The Hummingbird seemed excited to see us and we're so excited that they're here!! He made good use of the feeder all afternoon.
