Monarch (OTHER Observations)

Date: 04/25/2013

Number: 1

The larva ate all of the milkweed (we gathered up a cup full and took them to another site with milkweed because there was not enough for all at our garden)...they spun their chrysalis and have hatched out and flown on to the north...I think there were over a hundred larva and we found 20 or more chrysalis and certain there were many we did not see. We purchased milkweed seed from Seed Savers and are in the process of germinating the milkweed seed so we will have a better supply for next migration. Thank you for your work. Debra
