While on vacation at Wallowa Lake Lodge in Joseph, Oregon I watched a pair of Bald Eagles nesting in the cottonwoods by the Lake. Couldn't tell if they were feeding nestlings or just preparing for them hatching. They would spend the day at the nest and in the late afternoon they would take flight and search for fish, the Kokanee Salmon were spawning.
