Last week was our vacation week and when we left for vacation the tulips were still in bud stage, but very red and obviously about to open. Two of our classmates were at the school's vacation program and reported to class that the tulips opened on this date. By the time we were all back to school, the blooms were fully open and in some cases going over. We celebrated Earth Day by visiting our tulip garden and making our last measurements of tulip height.
