I have 76 third instar caterpillars, 19 J shapes, 26 pupa and 27 1st and 2nd instars for a total of 148 Monarchs that will be born in my waystation #4551. I have lots of milkweed plants but they are growing slowly. I have several older milkweed plants but the caterpillars are eating them very fast and they had just started to bloom. I have three types of milkweed, butterfly weed, tropical milkweed and a balloon milkweed plant that is over seven feet tall . I have seen bees nectaring on it but so far no butterflies of any kind.
