This is the 2nd year we've observed a nesting robin couple in our backyard. Last year about this time they built their nest in our hanging planter. We had 3 eggs, last year, all hatched and only 2 birds made it. They kept falling out of the quite unstable nest. We kept returning them. Finally one day, we found one little baby on the ground one morning (broke my heart). This year she's made her nest under our roof overhang propped up in the gutter arch. We've found one egg in our yard(not cracked, but no telling how long it'd been there), but haven't explored to find out how many she's laid. Can't wait to see what happens!
