Feeder's in the shade, and I noticed a bright cinnamon colored back on the first hummer I've seen at my feeder all season. He has been skiddish of me (more-so than the black chinned hummers I'm used to), so I watch from screen door. Bright red/orange/copper throat leads me to believe its a male. He perches on nearby bushes (fun to watch) and chases away any other hummer that comes near.
