November 5 was chosen as Delaware Community School bulb planting day for the whole school. Each grade level planted tulips, daffodils etc. around the school with the help of parent volunteers and Carol Ann Margolis from the Albany Heritage Area Visitors Center. The fifth grade also planted Journey North Tulips across from the school in the beds of their Friendship Garden. Sue Fowler coordinated the wonderful day of planting.
