Spring has arrived in Salem NH! Yippee! We waited almost six months for the tulips in our Journey North Test Garden to finally bloom. They did bloom... while we were on vacation! Some students that visited our school over vacation reported blooms as early as the 21st of April, but our classes didn't officially get to observe them until yesterday, the 29th of April. It was a warm sunny day with the air temp reaching up to the mid 70's F. We had all but two tulips emerge/bloom (out of ~120), and we plan to dig them up and see what happened soon. Thanks to Journey North, we have a great investigation that helps make our school look great too!
