Robin has built a nest right next to the front door - about 8 inches from it. We started using back door to not scare her away. She has laid three eggs. She is becoming accustomed to slight disturbances such as us walking in and out of door or just walking up on porch. Nest is appx. 4-5 feet off ground on a shelf. She is kind of social now as I talk to her through the door and she even stays on nest when I walk on the porch from the yard; she does however fly away when I use the door. My wife is starting to think I am nuts...
