My first hummer of the year! A male Ruby throated beauty. He arrived mid afternoon on Sunday, April 28. The day was overcast with light showers. He fed from one of my feeders and then perched on a lilac bush. He was there for the rest of the evening and stayed the night. I saw him early in the morning, he fed a few more times from the feeder, then he left. I'm so excited and very happy....the hummingbirds are back!!
