Hummingbird, Ruby-throated (FIRST)

Date: 04/30/2013

Number: 1

I am so greatful. This is the first year I have ever hoped that they would not show up early. It has been so cold and rainy. All the plants are so far behind. I finally saw my first male last night at my feeder on the front porch. This morning I saw him again at a second feeder (I have six) and visiting some of my annual baskets. I have the only annuals out in the neighborhood. Bleading Hearts, shrubs and cherry tree in bloom. Crabapple will bloom soon. It is to get cooler and rain again. Think the worst is over. Hope he stays.
