Karen in Lake Havasu City was surprised when her husband walked in with this dead monarch that was on the front grill of her truck. AC274 was originally tagged on 10/27/12 by Keith on the Colorado River. A few days later two board members of SEABA, Marceline and Dave, spotted five monarchs flying high in a tree along the Colorado River. It appears monarchs overwintered in this area.
