Robin (Nesting Behavior)

Date: 04/25/2013

Number: 1

We discovered some robins had built a nest on our swimming pool ladder that is beside the house waiting for summer. There was a garden hose wrapped around the top of the ladder, so we assume they liked that added protection from the elements. There are four bright blue eggs in the nest, and the parents have been faithful to incubate them this past week. We are so excited for the opportunity to watch them hatch, get fed, and fledge! I posted an album to the Journey North facebook page with some photographs!
