First time in my life (at 66 years of age) that I have seen a Bald Eagle outside of captivity. It was less than a mile from my home and checking out a freshly killed possium on the road. His Head was all white , but the tail was only white about half way up. I watched him fly around awhile and then land in a nearby tree and watch me to see when I would leave, so he could claim his prize. Seeing one in SC was a surprise. Wish I would have had my camera.
