At 4:30 PM a male was on the oriole feeder. He flew into a nearby tree and watched me walk into the house. I checked the feeder a short while later and both the oranges and grape jelly had been hit hard. I checked my 2012 calander and the orioles showed up last year on todays date so they are one day earlier this year. The last five years they have arrived within a day or two of my sister Mimi's birthday May 4th. She is patiently watching her Oriole feeders now. Life is good.
