Afternoon, bird people! Weather in Eastern Nebraska is mixed up with weather in Alaska! Baltimores are here.Saw a house wren last week.In the park a pair of Tennessee warblers. The juncos disappered overnight.Still have lots of chickadees, downeys, house sparrows,red-bellies,goldfinches,pine siskins, house finches, cardinals, jays, chipping sparrows, and (?#!$%)grackles.Have not seen any hummers!:(. Have not done any planting as the weather will not cooperate.Somehow my little-leaf salvia made it through the winter, who woulda thought it!Have included pic of resident free-range chicken. She's been living outside for 4 years now! She's also sitting on a clutch of eggs now looking all broody. Good birding and gardening.
