My friend and I were on the phone comparing bird stories. Suddenly, my friend said he just spotted a flicker and had to get off the phone to take a picture. I cleaned my oriole feeder and hung it outside. I walked by it 15 minutes later and had my first oriole of the season!! He has been sitting next to the feeder for about 10 minutes now as if to let everyone know the feeder is his!
