About 7am Monday, May 6 the first hummingbird of the season was seen. It was a female Ruby Throated Hummingbird. She arrived after a 3 day rain storm that was coming from the gulf. My feeder has been out since March 1, and this is the first hummingbird we have seen, although we had many last year. This spring has been colder than normal.
